The Hileman Collection If you come across Mark Hileman, as you inevitably will in looking for handmade, high- end modern jewelry, you'd likely not suspect immediately that he has another equally strong career and artisan love affair with architecture. But upon discovering this bit of information, Artizen found it suddenly so evident in the flow and "feng shui" of his stunning, finely crafted jewelry. His rings and pendants feature intricate banded inlays of opals, gemstones and, our personal geeky-heart favorite, dinosaur bone. We talked with Mark in a phone call to his current studio/office in Arizona and were delighted to find a man not only passionate about the shape and beauty inherent in more than one art form, but also about working with his family and living large.
