Book Review The Innovator's Mindset: Empower Learning, Unleash Talent, and Lead a Culture of Creativity by George Couros "We say think outside the box, but don't color outside the lines." At a recent professional development event in Deerfield, George Couros made this point very clear to a large room of educators. Couros went on to describe his background in education along with his passion for fostering major changes to our current educational system. In addition to being a great speaker, he is also the author of my favorite book of this year, The Innovator's Mindset. The book is written in a conversational tone that is easily accessible to all practitioners interested in embracing changes within the field of education. In this book, Couros, a leading educator from Canada, focuses on fostering significant change in classrooms all across the world. A cornerstone of this text is the conceptual framework - a framework Review by Matt Mayer Click the cover for more information. WINTER 2016 | VOLUME 62 | NUMBER 4 | PAGE 39
