CODERVA of then Goochland County Superintendent James F. Lane and Chesterfield County Superintendent Marcus J. Newsome to investigate high school redesign models. The educators were joined by members of the Greater Richmond Technology Council (RichTech), an association of 150+ local area businesses and organizations working together to ensure the continued growth of central Virginia's technology-based economy. RichTech's representatives included executive director Robby Demeria, and chief executives from Capital One, CarMax, Genworth, MAXX Potential. Additional founding partners included CodeVA, the nonprofit statewide affiliate learning partner of, and Bridging Richmond, a regional partnership anchored by VCU and focused on engaging the community to address shared education and workforce priorities.
