Beloved. One simple word so rich in meaning it needs no explanation, but so lavish in sentiment it has inspired lovers, artists, and writers for centuries – among them Stylist Elizabeth Singleton, who has used the concept to beauti- fully frame a timeless celebration of treasured people, places, and memories. Singleton, owner of the premier planning company, Events by Elizabeth Palmer, chose Dover Hall to serve as the backdrop for our bride's day of dreams. Tucked among 55 acres of rolling hills and woodlands, this English Tudor estate between Richmond and Charlot- tesville is among the region's prized wedding venues and creates a picturesque backdrop for this elegant affair. In her stunning pearl-encrusted gown, our bride is the center of attention, adorned with elegance from head to toe and surrounded by bouquets of white roses. The theme has been carefully adopted for every aspect of this wed- ding, from decadent, decidedly mod invitations that announce the event to the shower of white rose petals that signal its end. Proof that a picture is worth a thousand words is evidenced by the look on our bride's face as her groom catches his first glimpse of his beloved. As part of a "first-look" photo shoot, this moment forever captured by the couple's astute photographer is certain to become one of their most cherished memories.
