endy Gill Art She shares that a highlight of her childhood months was when the new issue of the Better Homes and Gardens magazine arrived. You, dear reader, might remember that at the end of each month was the page that had the paper dolls, all ready to be cut out. Wendy loved those paper dolls and that was a precursor to her fascination with magazines and cutting out favorite images. She now spends hours poring over them, cutting out interesting possibilities, 53 Mixed Media Collage Imagine having to haul your water, grade the road so you'd have access to your house in winter, play in actual forests, with very real forest animals living close by, all the while surrounded by the gorgeous rugged peaks of the Rocky Mountains. This way of life created an "out of the box" attitude that influences Wendy Gill's collage and life. Her father was the caretaker of an old abandoned fluorspar mine in Walden, Colorado.
