ry by Cindy Marks Mushrooms are a powerful earth symbol for me - their smell, how they grow, all their myriad shapes and colors. You can add mystery to this mix since I often find them odd as well as appealing. I discovered Wandering Lydia's Etsy page because of these adorable mushroom gardens, but I immediately discovered her hats shared similar traits, coming in a gamut of colors and shapes and all having that earthy yet quirky feel. Everything is made by hand (see blog posts on the following page) and her material of choice is felt she makes by recycling sweaters. She trims with crochet or felt add-ons and vintage buttons. Each item is unique and she's happy to create custom items. "I have a huge stash so I can fill requests for particular colors and matching hats & scarves."
