The timeline regarding the full- implementation/assessment alignment at the high-school level has not yet been determined and will be forthcoming; however, full-implementation/assessment alignment will not be before the school year 2020-2021. GCRTC is a proud member of the NYS Teacher Center Network, which collaborates with professional learning organizations throughout the State including BOCES, institutions of higher education and professional associations. Together, these collaborations provide a comprehensive support system for educators as they continue to build the collective capacity of all schools implementing the NYS Standards. Recent collaborations include the NYSTC Special Education CTLE Certification Extension series available to all special educators in our region at no cost, and the UAlbany AATLAS program, which provides affordable professional learning in content and pedagogy for teachers, delivered by University faculty.
