43 As an example of one of the tools to help make learning "stick", we will meet for the first session, to experience the IF-AT (The Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique). This is an exciting new testing system that transforms traditional multiple-choice testing into an interactive learning opportunity for students and a more informative assessment opportunity for teachers. Like a scratch-off lottery ticket, with test answers instead of winning numbers. The technique can be used individually or as a team-based learning activity. Participants will need to purchase a paper or digital copy of the book Make it Stick. Each participant will receive a set of IF-AT cards to immediately apply this technique back in class. Please bring some multiple choice assessments from your class or question ideas to turn into an IF-AT assessments.
